Overall Run Totals Graph (Read 880 times)

Eric - I was reviewing the widget options on  the summary page of the site, and I saw what I thought would be a nice change to the overall run totals breakdown. Currently, that specific widget shows the total miles and time (and pace if you so desire) for the current year and in total. I was thinking a nice enhancement to this widget would be to display a year by year breakdown and total mileage for the user. For example, if the user started using runningahead in 2007, this widget might show total miles as follows:

    2007 - x miles

    2008 - 2x miles

    2009 - 3x miles

    total - 6x miles

    thank you

    John

      +1

I think it would be great if the widget worked this way

      2012 Goals
      1) Run 1243 Miles (2000km)

      2) Run 100 Miles a month... every month.

      3) Break 1:50 in a HM (PR 1:52:19)
      4) Break 4:00 in a Marathon (PR 4:20:39)

I made a report that shows this information since the default widget did not. It was a simple alternative.

        PRs: 5k - 18:34 (2010 Littleton Road Race) 10k - 41:40 (2010 Livestrong Philly) HM - 1:29:48 (2010 Hartford Half Marathon) M - 3:10:31 (2011 Big Sur International Marathon)

How did you do that report?

I'm trying madly to find out the total miles I ran in 2009.  Now that it's rolled over to 2010, I can't seem to get a total. The graph report isn't accurate enough.

If anyone could tell me, I'd be delighted!

in Data Range enter "Current Year" & Activity should be "Run"

hit search, then look over on the right of the screen, click on Summary.

that works and makes sense. do you know if there is a way to add a custom summary or graph to your summary page? I messed around with that, but was unable to figure that out.

thanks for the info on the yearly breakdown...

How do you get 2009 to appear in Summary Overall totals?

                  Thanks

Same as advice above, but change Data Range to "Last Year".

I agree this is a good feature. While it can be worked around, seeing the last 2 or 3 yrs would be helpful. just as you see the last few weeks/months.

Smile eric never replied to this feature request, but I wanted to add that I like agree with mrtrik's reply..

It would be nice to have past years totals on the summary page, than working around it to find them.
