When I went back and reread my own post I saw that it directed to mybaa, and not baa.org but was curious in the responses.
Would people care if the standards dropped? Would it be better for the race? Not really sure on limiting the number of entrants, if that makes a big difference or not, just in the number of people that can run it any one year.

I think they should keep dropping them. Maybe 3hrs for 60 year old guys. Move the open times down to 2:20 and 2:40.
