Thanks everyone, it feels great. I ran a 1:23 half over 2 years ago and since have been struggling with the longer distance. The long write up is in my log if anyones bored.

Congrats on the Sub 3 Bash!  Nicely paced and a great finish!

Thanks guys and good luck jaxn, funny it felt very similar to a long run (not that I run my long runs at that pace). In control and relaxed until the last few miles then focus and work.

                    I'm back!

Major fail at Ottawa Marathon - 3:09:00.0 (just because it's cool)

I have now experienced the wall, I didn't last year.

Was ~30 min for last 5K.

2013 Goal: Make 3:00:16 go away - FAIL.

2014 Goal: Make 3:00:16 go away.

I am going to run Bob Potts Marathon on May 25th. I am doing it for a BQ for 2014. Will likely pace for 2:55ish.

Ran 2:56:40, enjoyed it and got my BQ.

Your running style is so fabulous. I wish I had one like yours.

This was my first time under 3 hours (not sure why the list says otherwise). Previous PR was 3:22.
