     I'll disagree. Upper 60s and 84% humidity. Ach. 

    I had a couple friends in the race, and they both said it was unpleasantly warm/humid.  Unlucky!

      The weather was sucky, but I think not nearly so bad as to account for this level of complete collapse/failure. 

       

      I ran Boston in the heat then ran another 5 weeks later 37 minutes faster. I think lots of folks running in this kinda heat see similar numbers. When the conditions are waaaay suboptimal there is only so much you can do.

        Well, it wasn't exactly unexpected. I'd trained hard for a fall PR attempt, but things hadn't quite come together as I'd planned. I was hoping the course would be fast enough to make up for it -- it was, just barely.
