Good way to get a Garmin 310xt on the cheap as well. Without HR strap, it is $349.99. With 15% discount, it is $297.49. $300 worth of gift cards gets you another $60 off. That would put a Garmin 310xt at $240. Craziness.

This is a good deal for us but I think I'd feel bad taking heavy advantage of this. I absolutely love RW (great prices/selection, free shipping, free return shipping) and I use them all the time but I know just how difficult running a small business can be. I'd hate to contribute to running them out of business. It's borderline if you ask me. Am I completely wrong in my thinking here?
I spend thousands at RW each year. I should basically buy a metric ton of these. It does seem unfair. It's sort of a bad call on their part, BUT it does have one advantage. You don't redeem them right away. Many people don't redeem them at all. If many people do this, they'll get a bunch of money up front they could invest or spend on some new venture or inventory. There are pros to it. I think they've already figured a few of us will pillage them for it, though.
Honestly, I don't know. The prices at RW are amazing. Not sure how they do it. I think if they didn't want you do be able to use either the discount or gift cards on electronics, they could set it up so you couldn't. They used to not let you use them on Asics and such.

So it isn't completely out of line, in my opinion. I already have a 310xt so I don't plan on purchasing another. I will be using my gift cards for Kinvara's more than likely.
Oh yeah! Greater Lowell wears forest green singlets these days, but the old school guys remember when they wore a color affectionately known as slime green. Almost died when I saw the Kinvara listed as slime, they're not in stock yet, but when they are they WILL be mine.

As for this deal, it is a "while supplies last" kind of thing. I love RW (and have completely ditched rrs finally), hopefully they did this "while supplies last" thing reasonably and don't wind up doing the Michael Scott version of the golden ticket. Plus gift cards sometimes don't get used... I'm sure they factored that in too.
But we need another acronym besides RW. That one is already used.

I tried to add the RUNBLOGGER coupon for 10%, but it didn't work. Damn! 30% would have actually forced me to buy a gift card. I guess that coupon will work later, so... I am having a hard time not getting one of these for later.
Discounts don't work on gift cards, but you can still use them with purchases.
Buy the gift card for 20% off. Then when you make your purchase later using the gift card, go to the "Team Discount" section and use CP15 which will give you 15% off your purchase. Hard to beat those types of savings.
