Okay, a disclaimer here:
1. I have a sick sense of humor. I know this. 2. I love The Onion. They kill me. 3. You should have posted this in The Swamp. Don't be surprised when you get a few unfriendly comments. Which you'll richly deserve.
That said ... I think I ruptured something laughing. Is there a doctor in the house?
Favorite line: "I'd really like to find somebody with leukemia. I know they do a swim."
----------------------------------
There's some comedian that has a similar bit. The punchline of his gag is: "I hope they find a cure for cancer soon. Cuz I'm getting tired of doing 5-k's."

| That's the line that did it for me too. It built up the whole time, but when he said that I burst out laughing and couldn't stop. |

No. This belongs in the general forum. Please don't limit general-interest items to your oh-so-elite clique. So there. </rant>.
I love The Onion, South Park, and all those other "insensitive" comedies. Here's a sick but funny one, even funnier if you have to deal with TSA frequently:

The laugh line for me was: "I'm told they could not even subdue our reporter Dan Baker who, by the way, was in terrible shape" |

You've mistakenly misinterpreted my condescending, patronizing faux sensitivity for the feelings of others for the usual elitist prickery that might be expected. While this is obviously an understandable mistake, here it was misplaced: I was only trying to point out the inherent dangers in introducing excessively swampy things into the great unknown of the scary place. First its a morbidly insensitive Onion clip, then a few Scout's mom with a cow jokes, a few references to Candice's colon ... then its all downhill on a slippery slop that could lead to almost overnight chaos. Soon there'd be boobs everywhere. And who needs that?

Got that one a little late...
That's the Onion for you, giving political correctness the middle finger in true henious fashion.
I am going to hell for laughing at that. |
