Welcome to my site. On the upper right hand corner of every page is an "Options" link. When you click on it, it'll bring you to the site's preferences page. The preferences are divided into several categories. You should browse through them and adjust the log to your likings. To create a profile, click on the "My Profile" link, and enter any or all the information you want others to know. To create an avatar and a signature for your forum posts, you'll need to go to "My Forum Preferences". Both of these pages allow you to upload a picture as well.
