Middle grade book title? (Read 227 times)

Tiefsa

I need help coming up with a title for my book.  My literary agent wants something to do with the main character and his goal of breaking the 7th grade record for the mile.

Any ideas that include the word "mile" in the title?

...obviously, I've got nothing, but since it's middle-school kids, how about hashtag-style stuff.

Otis Kalschankee, nicknamed OK, is a determined 12 year old boy trying to set the school record in the mile run.  Standing in the way of OK are his brute of an older brother, his perfectly perfect little sister, a group of mean girls at school, late homework, and even Sausage Link, the family dog.

Switching schools can be tough, but it’s even tougher to be accepted in the 7th grade by your peers when you’re the youngest and puniest kid.  To earn their respect, OK and his best friend, Leo, train for nine weeks straight to see if they can get their names on the “Boykinville Board of Beasts” which lists the school records for gym.  The Amazons, a clique of mean girls, don’t think OK’s efforts are very cool.  OK doesn’t help the situation by carrying around a vintage Star Wars Lunch Box, or the fact that he races the bus to school for fun.  To top it off, OK tells a girl who had head lice that he loves her.
