Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this board who recommended slowing down my pace (I was the wha wah, my running is not improving girl from a month back). I slowed down my pace and went from 5 minute maximum of running at a time, to yesterday running a 5K in just over 40 minutes. No walking. My low back is a little tight, but I don't even have shin splints! Next stop, 10K!! Thanks for all of your tips and advice and admonishments to keep at it. It worked.

I used to think I could run about 2-3 miles at a time.  Then Knifey said, "Slow down."  It worked.  Extended my m/m pace about 2-3 minutes and gradually built speed from there.  Awesome work!!  Big grin

            The only difference
            That I see
Is you are exactly the same
            As you used to be
