13.1, 26.2, 70.3, 140.6 Magnets (Read 4138 times)

For whatever reason (so far, it's apart from this thread topic), I have magnets attached to my vehicle that shows what race distance accomplishments I've had.

    It includes 13.1, 26.2, and 70.3 (still waiting for a 140.6).

We've all seen them before (and maybe you have them on your car too).

This morning, as I was walking out to my car, I noticed that they're gone.

    Yes, stolen!

Not a big deal, but c'mon....

Why would you steal a magnetic number?
If you ran the distance, buy one.

If you didn't, it's just a number or a magnet, but it has no meaning.

Also, my car stops in 3 different locations (office, home, and gym).  So, I know that the thief is either a coworker, a neighbor, or a fellow gym rat.

I'll be detaining some of my colleagues and neighbors in the coming days to question them about any unusual activity... Smile

    Cheers,

      I'd like a 5.0 magnet.

      an amazing likeness

Maybe someone needed to quickly 'uparmor' their vehicle and grabbed whatever was handy to stick to the doors?

Local school funding cut back and math teacher needed teaching aids?

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

          I'd like a 5.0 magnet.

I just bought one of those for my couch to 5k brother-in-law (while I was ordering the others as replacements for my car).

(BTW, I doubt he'll stick it on his car, but I figured that for $2.50, he might get a laugh out of it).

Someone stole my HTFU magnet. I'm pissed.

If you've done a 70.3 isn't a 13.1 redundant, maybe he was trying to make this point and got carried away.

I've always been curious, why no 50 or 100 magnets?

Yeah, but is it metric or Imperial?

They exist; I see them sometimes.

Never sure if they are for running, or for beginning swimmers who completed their first 50m and are proud.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
