Day 3 of the gym.
Hopefully the last day for another year.
Glad my gym/rec center is predominately old guys with white tshirts. Seems everyone knows everyone else. I was the weird runner dude.
One guy would do about 10 reps on a machine then slog a lap on the 1/16 mile track. Mix and repeat maybe 16 times.
Get off my porch
They also do this in park restrooms. In groups.
Um. I was doing a weird glute exercise that probably looks pornographic. I usually save it for home. If you can't beat them, join them. I know I'm not the only one who has weirdos at their gym. Ennay and I both have 115 yr old Asian women in the locker room that blow dry their hoo-ha's with the hand dryer.

Wait! Those hand dryers are mounted on the wall......do they gather around and aim their hoo-ha at it??

Yes. I have witnessed this with my own eyes. Though I'd suggest that they are mostly directing their mons and vulvas toward the airflow, rather than that the internal hoo-ha apparatus.
not bad for mile 25

I've belonged to at least three gyms. I think it is safe to say that your chances of encountering "off " behavior rise exponentially after 10 a.m. and go parabolic after 6 p.m.

Stay gold, Nads. And happy opening day!
Thanks. I always liked that Robinson Cano.
Different crowds in gyms. I rather stay outside even in bad weather.
I go to the gym at 7:30a.m. for lifting and occasional arc trainer. I've never witnessed the bizarre behaviors described here, and South Philadelphians are not noted for being boring!
I think I need to switch gyms.
I haven't had a membership in years after getting bored with weightlifting after I found running. However, I bought my boyfriend a premium membership at the local cheap-ass gym which means I can use it when I want to. This thread has reminded me why I dislike gyms. I liked when he lived in an apartment with its own mini-gym cause there was rarely anyone else in there.

This morning this lady was walking pretty fast on the treadmill on a steep incline but holding on tightly while leaning very far back so she was essentially perpendicular to the treadmill surface. Probably 30-40 minutes of this followed by walking normally and flipping a towel over back and forth in front of her face sometimes hitting her nose. To be fair, I was doing some odd appearing things myself so no judgement here but wth?
When my trips, especially mushrooms it seems, go south, I tend to head straight to the gym.
