Yes, I am a dumbass... (Read 1085 times)

    ... why do you ask?

After the minor thread diversion, I ordered a unicycle. My wife just rolled her eyes. Countdown to face plant - 3, 2, 1.

    Anyone have any pointers?

It's not the heat, it's the stupidity.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

    Inhale

      Nice.  Dumbass.

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

Sounds like you're destined for planter's face-itis Bonk. Try to get your landing gear down as early as possible.

You may be a dumbass, but you are in good company around here.  Promise to have someone take some video...you know, for our entertainment and all. Big grin

That will be no good for du/triathlons because you can't attach clip on aero bars?

and yes for once I REALLY think this thread is useless without pictures.  Preferably of the video variety.

I still have the helmet from when the kids got me a skateboard a few christmases ago.

I'm sure it will be easy to convince my wife to take video. You will not be able to hear me cry in pain though, because her she will be laughing too loudly.

Holy crap! I stand corrected. I wonder how fast that goes. The next thing your going to tell me is that it has multiple gears.

But can you use it indoors on the trainer?

Some are, yes. I think some of the larger wheeled ones, if set up properly, can go just over 20 mph.

I just ordered a decent beginner one to get started, but I was amazed at what's out there and what people are doing on one wheel.
