Running Resolutions (Read 1257 times)

    Goal: still be running 10 years from now..

     

    1) run within my limits

    2) use HR to stay in my lower aerobic range

    3) listen to the cues my body is giving me

    4) resume regular back/core exercises

    5) This is what it's all about, no one can slow us down, we ain't gonna stop until the clock runs out

     

    OK, maybe I need to work on that last one Wink

      My goal is pretty much the same as yours, but more specifically:

       

      1)  Get back up to 25mpw.

      2)  Do so without bugging my patello femoral syndrome.

      3)  Do so without causing any more injuries.

        2) make a habit out of doing upper body workouts

          Sub-33:00 10k

          Qualify for Boston by 20 minutes

          2014 Goals:

          Not destroy my back while running.

              I'm on the right

                My goals:

                1)  Actively run all year long.

                2)  Not get winded after 2 miles

                3)  Run 1000 miles

                4)  Thrive, not merely survive. (Okay, so this applies to the rest of life).

                I'm Eric, the guy who runs to keep his sanity.

                  1) Take 20 minutes off my marathon time by the spring.

                  2) BQ in the fall/winter.

                  3) Run my first 50 miler in September.

                  4) Complete my first full year of running ever.

                  5) Race a lot, enjoy it all.

                          As does mine. Changing your diet to mostly whole foods and lean protein will likely be an increase in the total volume of food you eat, while reducing your caloric intake.

                              I always find streaking interesting - It is the best of goals and worst of goals.  There are times streakers run that are counter-productive.  But most the time it forces you to be consistent.
