Basketball player, Lauren Hill died today.
She was a 19 year old athlete with terminal brain cancer who fought to raise over a million dollars for oncology research during the last few months of her life.
ESPN ended up telling her story in a video late last year.

She, her courage, and her faith were all rather remarkable.
RIP, Lauren.
I just heard about her this week when someone posted a link here. Very sad.
One of my coworkers just found out yesterday that her sister has been diagnosed with a brain tumor - hearing about Lauren's death this morning will be particularly hard for her.
Lauren was amazing and inspiring. She will be missed.
