The Flying Pig Marathon
3:40 or under and I will be happy. Just want to run a smart race and finish strong since my training was less than stellar. Looks like the weather will be decent.

Good luck to everyone else that is racing. HTFU!

Vancouver Marathon

My wish is for 3:42. I'm properly trained but have choked in my last two marathons.

I'm doing a small local 5k. My last (and only) 5k time was 29:43, so just beating that would be great.

That's better than my 1st 5k which was 30:01 and i'm 13 years old. The last 5k I did was at 29:32.

Thrill on the Hill 10k

I just want to PR on the course which I don't think will be hard since last year when I ran it I had a total of 3 training runs in. I am shooting for something under 50:00 which is good for a course that is quite hilly and on a muddy underwater trail for half of it.

I asked about volunteering for this race, but nobody responded yet. Good luck, hopefully won't be too bad again this weekend.

If you are still interested I will talk to the race coordinator and have him get back to you asap.

Yeah hopefully it's not raining or snowing too hard....I'm just hoping for it not to be too cold....but I'll run it regardless.

Yeah, you could do that. I emailed Brian first and just after I read your post forwarded the email to Josh. I would be glad to help out. Since I don't really want to run 16 in that weather, especially since Sunday looks much better.

Yeah, since I work there I'll just stop by and talk to Josh or Brian and make sure they get back to you. Hope to see you there.
