Thomas.garnick

I have been browsing the net and am looking for every ones opinions for the best training recources on the web. This fall im running two big races; Reach the Beach in NH and the Louisville Marathon. My goal is to run the marathon in under 3:00 hours. Any help or comments would be greatly appretiated. Thanks Thomas
      I prefer Hal Higdon's plans.
      Next up: A 50k in ? Done: California-Oregon-Arizona-Nevada (x2)-Wisconsin-Wyoming-Utah-Michigan-Colorado
I'm starting the new "Veteran Plan" from Runners World in mid-July. It has a strong cross-training component which I think will work well with my own goals. (1-2 days of cross training per week). I got it out of the print copy of RW (last issue), but the plan is online here: http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-244-255-11938-0,00.html But - because RW has a bad website - the online article doesn't define the interval workouts... you'll need a print copy for that.... Or... I also moved this plan onto my Google Calendar.. if you begin scrolling through mid-July, you can see the interval workouts... I think this link to my Calendar will work: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=foknuutgthmf58r3ui04d86qu8%40group.calendar.google.com

Go to http://certainintelligence.blogspot.com for my blog.

I picked up a copy of Advanced Marathoning - Pfizinger(?). They have a few good high-ish mileage plans, and I've been in great shape since I started in on that.

Ya, this plan looks good. Heavy mileage if you're up to it but solid. I have mixed Hal Higdon's and the RW plan along with some of my own wisdom. Hopefully it all pans out for Columbus this Oct!
i'm using hal higdon's for the chicago marathon right now and it is working out great so far.
