>Racing>10k or HM?
You'll ruin your knees!
""...the truth that someday, you will go for your last run. But not today—today you got to run." - Matt Crownover (after Western States)
DO IT, you know you wanna...
Personally, I need the committment to motivate me...sign up for the HM and go for it! You can do it! Woot!
The HM distance is a typical hiking distance for me -.
What was your 5-k time?
My husband, btw, is happy with this new obsession, though he thinks I've lost it.

• DON'T BREAK ANYTHING!!!
• get within 5#s of 130#s (and stay there, gotdammit!)
• 1st olympic distance duathlon
• 1st Iceman Cometh mtn bike race
• Half Fanatic
• punch Type 1 in the junk
I also lost 2.5 stone (35.5 lbs) between August and September which helped with the race times but i wouldn't recommend that as a training strategy.
Nevertheless I think this HM is well within your reach!
