Garmin Edge 500 temperature format issue

I ran into a weird thing with my new device. On the Garmin it shows temperature as F, but it uploads to RA as C. Confused

This is a formatting issue on RA's end. Garmin always stores the temperature as Celsius. RA always stores data as presented, in this case, in Celsius. It also always displays the data as entered. I've been debating if it should convert to the preferred unit.

Ahhh...that makes sense. I don't think you need to bother converting, since the Garmin doesn't seem to read the temp all that accurately, anyhow (it seems to be a few degrees warm, so I sub in what the local weather station claims). I just wondered why it did that, mostly.
