I was already up, reading a magazine in the bathroom when the rumbling started.....now THAT is an odd feeling....at first I wondered if it was a Tornado....or the wind....

We could feel it pretty strongly here in Indiana, apparently about 50 miles or so away from the epicenter. It woke dh and I up and within about 30 seconds we had two frightened kids in bed with us. The last fairly good earthquake I remember around here was back when I was in college and that was a *long* time ago.

Felt it here in Indy too. I'm the only one that woke up and noticed including my dog.

Sounded like a big gust of wind hit the house. Very different from the ones I've experienced on the West Coast.

Cagery - I'm not sure what to say about your timing, but the one liners from that could be in the hundreds. So let me be the first to start - how did you know it wasn't the chilli from last night? Smile

You guys have way too much going on for that early in the AM. Clowning around I'm just glad to get out early enough for a run without causing too much of a stir.

Felt it up here in Fort Wayne also. My first thought was a train since I live close to some tracks, but it was too much for a train. My second thought was tornado so I headed towards the basement. Then I looked out the window and saw how calm it was outside. What a way to wake up in the morning. Surprised

I had a dream our house was being picked up by tornado, so maybe my inner child felt it, nah that was probably DH's morning grab-her.

We didn't feel it in MI, but maybe because we're sittin' on a big pile o' sand.
