Forums >General Running>Is There a demand Here for a Track Forum?
There seem to be a few age groupers here interested in track but I've found that there are very few resources or forums for the more mature (physically and mentally) trackster, especially for a newbie like me.
I strongly believe that interest in track events is growing among older runners as an alternative to road-racing and that an "All Things Track" forum would be a welcome addition to this community.

I agree.
One could always start with a user group too.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

"C" is for cookie. That's good enough for me.
I'm a track rat. No talk of BQs!
A track-XC forum or user group could be fun.
FU. He's not Engerlish.
Also, I resent that being a post-collegiate and masters only group. I'm the former but I still don't like the discrimination/segregation.
Not an open forum? Lame.
That would be a decision up to eric and out of the hands of us mere mortals.

Actually I believe that is a group setting that the owner can change.
Not at it at all.
I'm going to go into such forum and talk mile racing and marathon racing just for spite!

I like when track talk breaks out but I need another group like I need a hole in my head (or like I need to run another marathon.)

Javelin 'cause it always has a point to it.
Sorry. Couldn't help myself.
