As far as tapering for your half Zoom. You would just take your last week ( week of the race) easier and have an extra day off from running.
Roads were made for journeys...
Lost it all in the taper. Too long of runs, too few maintenance runs, but most of all -- I got the diet and hydration all wrong. Crammed carbs for a week, just like the article says not to. It was truly ugly.
