Darn it, I threatened murder (not specific to a person, but still murder if I am given a stupid, phoney gift). Is there an emoticon for lighthearted murder/extortion threats?
Not yet...but I fully expect you to come up with one...and my black cami and signature DGF tricycle tee

Run like a kid again!
I've decided to buy her a baseball jersey to give to her before the game tomorrow. Maybe I will put it in her car tomorrow morning with a card and a note. It will be one of those official ones but with no name on the back of it so that she can wear every year. Players are switching teams way too much these days. I think she will like that and I can do that at lunch today. I think I will get her the home one but the away one is red and will not discolor as much. Decisions, decisions.
Back on topic and speaking of running too much I have decided that I do need help. We are planning a trip to NYC for a friends wedding and a big part of my planning is where can I run? How do you go to NYC and not run in Central Park a couple of times. Seriously how do I not do this? Plus I plan to run at Jones Beech. I don't know anything about that place but was told it was close to our hotel and a good place to drive to and run.
Bearcat, I'd recommend running along the West Side Highway. It's an asphalt path with grass and trees on either side. The best part is you're basically running along the Hudson River for much of the way.
Here is some info, and here is a loop I found.
You might want to send a PM to cynrunner and and dcv2002 for more info.

Thanks I will have to try and check that out. Not sure how long we will be there though. I would like to stay longer but I think she does not want to stay very long. I think it is work related or it could be just spending that much time with me is too much to ask of even my dw.
Bearcat, I run in Central Park all the time. If you run the outer loop of the park I think its about 6.1 miles. Here is a weblink to a map (not my map) showing the outer loop. Its a great course...good hils and usually (at least when I run mid-day during the week) not much traffic because vehicles are restricted from the park during certain times of the day.
Oops. Forgot the weblink. Here it is.....
