Could be sweat-related, but more from rubbing your eyes! Maybe a sweat wristband would help, you could blot the sweat and not rub!

I've went running with her...she doesn't SMELL like a delicate flower!!!
my face gets irritated from the elements of weather and the rubbing.. i usually use a light moisturizer-i would use something for the eye area a couple of hours before you run.
Plus, the skin an and around your eyelids is some of the most sensitive on your face, so it's probably not surprising that it would be a problem there. If your new "blotting" technique doesn't work, perhaps a light layer of vaseline on the affected skin before your run would help prevent further chafing....
