Forums >Health and Nutrition>Any experiences with PST* Pulsed Signal Therapy?
Hello,
I would appreciate if anyone can share the results after trying recovery with/including Pulsed Signal Therapy (PST*)
I was recommended to start a treatment with 9 daily sessions (~1 hour PST* + ~1 hour of other more conventional therapy), then continue other 9 daily sessions with conventional therapy.
Thanks!
I had to look it up to make sure it was what I thought it was. My wife had a Jones fracture. This fracture is on the fifth metatarsal and often takes a lot of time to heal due to lack of blood flow to the area. She used something like this, although I think they had a different name for it.
It seemed to work well for her. No pain and the fracture healed with no complications.
Glad to hear that se recovered. What was the name in your case?
Thanks!!

You are are referencing Exogen bone healing system here which is "low intensity pulsed ultrasound". PST is different. It is for pain and uses electrical pulses.

Hi, as additional information the specialist claimed that the treatment could repair damaged tissues and stimulate growth of cartilage. This is why I was wanting to see if anyone had an actual experience and was able to validate some how this statement.
You may be right about that. I just glanced at the description of PST and thought it sounded like what my wife had. I don't know where the device is so I can't really say for sure.

I would be very surprised and disappointed in a company or product that claims to grow cartilage. Not possible!!
