How is it someone gets so worked up about another person they will never know or likely ever meet that has done nothing directly to impact their daily life? I wonder if Palin knows she has so much power over others?
BTW - I'd run with her or any of the other pols. It could make for an interesting conversation for a few miles and since I shower after my runs, it would wash off any of that policitcal crap that might get on me from being with them.

Agreed. I just can't seem to gather the emotion to hate someone I don't even know - even if I don't agree with their politics.

I wish people would stop using the term redneck to refer to a hick.
The term redneck was used in The West Virginia Coal Miners March (1921) or the Battle of Blair Mountain when coal miners wore red bandannas around their necks to identify themselves as seeking the opportunity to unionize. It was a socialist term, and many of the people using it to describe themselves don't even like socialism. Well, they probably don't even know what it is, but they would claim to hate it.
