Yeah they are kind of odd looking.

I still think the hokas are weirder.

Anti minimalist movement I guess. Kinda like the Asics Gel Kinsei, the idea is to just cushion the heck out of your feet. Don't see why anyone would go for these, but if you get injured a lot and minimalism hasn't worked, maybe its a last resort?

It's for those people that have to jack the suspension up on their truck to the point they could drive over small cars. Those are seriously dumb looking.
