Just wanted to share the couple of things that made my day a good one yesterday...
First off I decided to run 26 miles in honour of Boston, should have been 20 miles, so that is the furthest I've ever run...good times Big grin
Then at work last night, after working EMS for 9 years, I delivered my first baby, in the ambulance on the side of the hiway!
Baby boy 7 lbs 1 oz, mom and child doing well Big grin

That is one hell of a day! I hope you slept well.
I should be either dancing or studying right now; but probably studying.

Makes even a good day in my life seem pretty piss-poor. Nice work, Chris! I hope they name that baby after you. Big grin

Hey, you should write it down somewhere while it is still fresh in your mind so your kids or other family can read it some day.

Very cool. So what do you think was harder the 26 or the labor the Mom had to endure?

Well as mom went into labor an hour before she delivered and my run was 3:48 I would have to say hers was harder!! Wink
I have never seen that much relief on a persons face, she just about dislocated my partners shoulder when it came to pushing!! Black eye

Good answer! Well that's faster than I have done either. So when are you doing 26.2?

Thanks, I'm getting my arse back in shape slowly. My mantra was, "You are running with a bunch of college kids that were out drinking last night, you ARE NOT going to let them beat you." Big grin

Let's hope there are no pregnant marthon runners that you have deliver during your race. Good Luck.
