I ran with you there!
It was dreamy.
Are we there yet?
I will be out there. Should be fun in SF!

Runners run
2014 Goals: (Yeah I suck)
Where is San Fransico, anyway?
Chaka are you running the full?
Yes. My training log may indicate the half, but I am signed uo for the full. :/
This is the last time I bookend the summer with a race. Phew. Dew point + Heat = Deep appreciation for Fall Marathons.
Are you running the full?
Near Oakland
Chaka, BCR is running the full, me the half.
Why am I seeing 83 as a high in San Fransico? Damit Trent did you sign up for this race and not tell us! All I have seen is 60 degree highs and now I am seing 80's what the hell!
IIlene you need to do something about this! I know it will still be cooler than most places with less humidity and since it is in the morning we should be okay but really this is just not right. Running marathons are just stupid.

You are concerned about the forecasted high temperature for a race that starts at 5:30a... 12 days in advance.
It's going to be ok.

First of all they start runners off at various times. The fast boys go off at 5:30. The rest of us go off in spurts after that.
It is now down to a predicted 76. I like the direction this is headed. Today is a high of 65 but with low clouds. What in the world does low clouds mean? Is that another way of saying foggy?
This is just a minor tweak. Since I doubt this race will be anything close to a PR I am not stressing about it. I just want a decent time and not to crash too hard.
I've run the race 3 times, I get it.
The point isn't that you start at 5:30 vs 5:40. It's that your temperatures will be as far from the forecasted day's high (assuming a front doesn't move through or the temp doesn't stagnate) as can be. That is, as they say, good.
Low clouds isn't fog, although if the dewpoint is close to the temp, you may get that too. Low clouds are what we call up here "a marine layer". Thick soup. It looks different than, well, higher clouds.
