Maybe an option for low-light running?
Skeptical of the durability, though...they certainly don't look like they had runners in mind when they made the video, at least. Monty Python aficionados, yes. Runners, no.
Still...all the customization options look fun.
MTA: Just noticed, "not water-resistant." Also, requires six AAA batteries, three for each foot, presumably. Yeah, don't think I'd want to deal with that I'll go back to my previous choice for when I decide my shoes need to light up.

Those would be cool for a nighttime fun run, but maybe not for daily, er, nightly use.
