Fairhaven 15k, Washington (Read 369 times)

I ran the 15k Fairhaven for the first time, since my injury some years ago. A relative small turn out, 800 or so people. The day was beautiful, the route amazing and my time was astonishing I never really wanted to race until I wanted to know how all this running has brought me back since the achilles issue. Well it seems I am back running as well as ever before. I missed the one hour mark by a few minutes but it certainly gave me a life to do another race. The Royal Victoria Half Marathon on October 8th is my next one. Wishing all runners/racers good luck. S
