The whole Boston jacket thing (Read 1767 times)

and I think it is funny that there's a marathon called Tobacco Road.

You may want to sock away your pennies for some gear at the Ruben Studdard Marathon.

I bought the Boston jacket in 2010 but kept it in a drawer and didn't wear it until after the marathon. I wore it to other marathon/race expos, although I started to feel a little pretentious. I joked about being buried in that jacket, but I recently lost it Sad

Ok, look, if you just want to be popular, wear some spandex tri gear to road races. Cause road racers are very accepting and loving about that.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Maybe I will steal a Boston jacket this year.

So can I buy Boston Marathon douche?

Yes, but if you use it in public...well...

Ah yes.  One of several races in 2011 that waited until some people registered and paid travel expenses.... and then chose to cancel their full marathon.

Also, at a glance, "sock away your pennies" reads differently. And I bet that's where the Chili Peppers got the idea.
