Forums >General Running>trail practice - paved relay
Running in a loose term for me its more of a jog. Ive been going 3-5 days a week for 3 months and finished a 5k 2 weeks ago at 36 mins which was ok bc it was at 9.30 am and so hot.
I'm in the Bahamas so the trail is sometimes rocky - sometimes sandy - sometimes mulch - and sometimes crushed rock w/ slight hills.
Ive practiced up to 5 miles but with intervals at the end.
The 6.9 for the marathon relay is flat and paved. Is this going to really hurt my knees and slow me down? I want to be prepared
Trying to drive to some pavement saturday...
I'm also 9 weeks pregnant and the dr said don't overheat but I take it slow as always.
thanks!
