2010 Goal of Sub 4:00 Marathon (Read 3385 times)

No go for me this time around, although sub 4 would have been a "all the planets aligned" type of day for me.  I ran well, gutted out the last 10k which was full of painful leg cramping, and finished in 4:23:32, which is a long way from sub 4, but it was a 25 minute PR for me from my first marathon last year.

A 25 minute PR is a huge step forward, you'll get the sub 4 next year!

2011 goals: Sub 20 5k, PRs at the 10k, half marathon and (god willing) a sub 3:40 marathon

I feel your pain man.  I had leg cramping in both quads in my first marathon last weekend.  Same issue, same time as you.  That last 6 miles was damn painful.  Congrats on the PR though.  Can't complain with that.  You killed your previous time.
