1st half marathon (Read 1588 times)

    finally!!!!  I ran the New Bedford Half Marathon today and finished at 2:21:25.  I am very happy with that.  I've been struggling a lot and expected to come in between 2:30 and 3:00.  AND, I stopped to help a woman who's knee gave out on her - I'm guessing that was 30 seconds to a minute stop.  I am just so happy right now!

                          thanks all.  I'm taking a few days for my thighs to feel like they work again and then back at it.  Planning on running the Cox 1/2 on May 1st.
