Well, it's spring and something's in the air, right?. Wait, that was just me blowing mud, again. Carry on, squirrels.
I'm suddenly reminded of an really old Letterman episode (back when he was on NBC). We was discussing how blessed he was to have Carson as his lead in, saying that anything could get decent ratings following Carson. Including "squirrels mating in a cage."
As is typical with Letterman, he randomly repeated the phrase "squirrels mating in a cage" several times throughout the episode.

Ha, I can just imagine that! 
The biggest problem with squirrels mating in our yard is that they seem fond of having the babies in the ceiling right above the computer room. Then the babies get to a few weeks of age and start racing around, squeaking, and wrasslin' above my head and we can hear them gnawing in the ceiling walls during the Winter (could be mice, too, but they they sound bigger than mice). We've had a squirrel IN our house, too...cats LOVED that. Not sure how he/she or the random bats find their way in. I hate old houses.  |

| squirrels in our house to! we finally started trapping the little suckers...I tried to smoke one out of fireplace once on the advise of the Ga Dept of Natural resources) and ended up killing the thing ( I guess 30 minutes of smokey pine wood is too much?) get a trap if they get out of hand they will destroy the wiring in the house! you can't poison squirrel's like you can mice, trapping them is all that worked for us! |
