Just finished my record 5 mile time! :) (Read 670 times)

    I may try a race in the fall, Im just enjoying the fact that I can run/jog at all.
    What we do in life, echo's in eternity.

      running man,  way to go!   you've already overcome some major obstacles that would destroy a lesser man.  you are putting om some good mileage & will just continue to get faster & lower your times.  next step is to sign up for race, I bet you will be under 45 mins for a 5 miler!   keep going, I would suggest you think about purchasing Jeff Galloways's book "running until your 100".  At 53 I'm enjoying my 2nd life as a runner & will be doing a 5 mile "race" next weekend.  not sure how will do, but doesn't matter much as it will be a new pr no matter how I do.  keep it going, stay away from those injuries!

         

         

        Almost guaranteed to be true -- cause the crowd and excitement pulls you along just a tad quicker.......You really ought to sign up for a local race -- 5K or 5 Mile.......
