Oh I thought of a worse one.... I was in 7th grade track and told my Mom that I needed track shoes. She bought me a $9 pair of the ugliest cheapest tenny shoes from K-Mart. The kids teased me to no end, but this my Mom didn't have much money soI just wore them. Money is not an issue for running shoes today. Smile

The funniest thing for me was back in 10th grade during an indoor track meet. That morning I had somehow forgotten to pack my shorts in my bag before I zipped out the door. I realized this on the bus to the meet and had to scramble to get another pair, the shorts I borrowed were too big but I had no choice. I ran in three events that day, and thanks to a safety pin I was okay during two of them. In the third event the pin came undone and mid-stride I felt them start to slip down, so I finished the race with one hand holding my shorts up. Blush

My team was rolling with laughter. Angry
