Is there anyway to slightly alter a map and save it as a different route rather than mapping the entire thing over again?

Yes. First, go into view map by clicking on this button next to the course name:

Second, click on Copy Map at the top right corner of the map frame. Third, click on this button at the top of the map to edit / add / delete points:

Fourth, click on the edit point button again. Give your new map a new name and then save it. Big grin

Yeah, but the route altering method has changed with the new log release.
