We've Got Big Hills

Rod Staples

I'd be interested to see science behind this.  I was not aware that there was a cause for running-related sudden death identified, and would be surprised if it were caused by clotting.

Remember Doctor's are Practicing Physicians, they are practicing on people to see what works., I hate being a guinea pig!  I try to listen to my body and make my own assessment  .

Maybe, maybe not.  But a race packet is not a doctor.

My reaction to this post is pretty much the same as my reaction to watching "Inception". Which is pretty much the same as my dog's reaction when I gave him a Rubik's Cube.

        Is this your dog?

This is a useful piece on the topic.

ASA.  The American Statistical Association.  I bet their annual convention is a real rager.

"I cannot imagine any condition which would cause a ship to founder. I cannot conceive of any vital disaster happening to this vessel. Modern ship building has gone beyond that."

Nothing like the sociologists, to say nothing of the anthropologists, but you might be surprised.

That's right. You should get your medical advice from the Huffington Post.

"Able to function despite imminent catastrophe"

"The most common question from potential entrants is 'I do not know if I can do this' to which I usually answer, 'that's the whole point'.--Paul Charteris, Tarawera Ultramarathon RD.
