Bradford Valentine Race (Read 321 times)

Anyone running in the Bradford Valentine race on Feb 9? I just signed up for the 6k, probably shouldn't have since I'm coming back from an injury from overtraining and shouldn't push myself too hard. Oh, well. Being a beginning runner I've only run 1 race in my life so I have really poor pacing skills. Has anyone ever asked people around them what pace they run and asked if it was OK to follow them during the race? Probably frowned upon, but I'm not going to win anything. I'd like to shoot for a ~7:15 pace. Tom

not sure yet. When I left the Navy in 84, we moved to a house on M street in Bradford but 2 years later we moved to Hartford Ct where I have been ever since. My daugher is now a PA in Qunicy so it might be fun to do with her.
