Forums >General Running>Article on Boston Qualifiers
So Competitor.com just published a little piece about a thing I do on my blog where I interview people who've qualified for Boston. When I answered their email I didn't know they'd print my response verbatim. If I did, I'd have tried to be more clever.
Anyway, you can see the article here:
http://running.competitor.com/2014/09/news/inspired-bq-runner-collects-input-boston-qualifiers_113035?utm_medium=whats-hot
This thing started here on runningahead and almost all the early responders were oldtime RAers. I think Mikey was the first. Jeff, Candice, Dopplebock and many, many others soon followed. So far, the responses have gotten upwards of 40,000 views and have helped me and many others learn how to run better.
Thanks for taking the time to answers questions sent to you by an imaginary person on the internet.
PS - If you have a BQ, get in touch!
Have you qualified for Boston? I want to interview you!

Sean, that's awesome how it's grown. Might have the makings of a book in there...
Come all you no-hopers, you jokers and roguesWe're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes
Thanks, Kevin! I don't know about the a book, I'm not sure how I would ever find some of these people again to get their buy in!
Next step I think is for me to find the time to put all the info into a googledoc to make it more useful.
Why is it sideways?
Sean's blog in general is terrific -- ton of great content there. Nice work, my man.
Fantastic!
Congrats this is great!
P.S. I have two BQs - 21 years apart - if you want some info from a now old lady runner let me know :-)
Ready, go.
That's really cool.

Thanks everyone, I really had no idea this thing would grow like this... serious shout out to all the RAers who have taken part!
Anyone want to guess which RAer's BQ(Q) has the most hits?
TaraC, I'll be sending you a PM.

There goes my work productivity for today.

Aw, thanks Jeff and Tara. Other than the BQ(Q), my blog is generally stupid and full of failures.
You know where there's some good reading though? This blog:

Hey very cool man! And I see you're in BK, me too? When do you run and where are you (I'm in PS).
I've two BQs in official races and a handful of others from non official stuff. Ran Boston twice. Are you still looking for people to fill out your survey?
