| May I whine for a moment? It's in the upper 80's to lower 90's and today the air is dripping with humidity. It's summer in Florida and I won't be cool again until at least mid-October. Having been raised in the south, I'm a gifted sweater (that would be one who sweats...not the other kind), but since taking up running I sweat if I even think about being warm. I'm a sweat-o-matic. This makes running in the early AM mandatory. Oh well.....at least I CAN run. Whinefest is now over. Thanks for letting me kvetch. |

May I whine for a moment? It is MAY and it was 35 degrees out when I went running this morning. 35.
Oh, but I hear it will be 90 next week. Truthfully I would rather have the 35.
I am on a freaking roller coaster here. |

Yeah...if it were a race I would be happy....although I actually have a strong preference for 42. 42 is the perfect race temp because I can wear the T and shorts without freezing before the start.
Somehow though...35 is too damn cold for an easy run. And not getting me anywhere prepped for the hotter than normal summer we are supposed to eventually have.
I do prefer cold to heat. Just ...really... MAY? |

It's the answer to everything. Now if I could figure out how that applies to sun stoke......

| This morning after running about 4.5 miles I started to get cold and I thought - hmmm, that's not so good - I think I should walk. It was in the mid-upper 70's and a billion percent humidity. I shall acclimate. |

Good one, Jeff . . .
Mebeingme, I was out at 6:30 today thinking . . . man, I gotta get out earlier. Mind you, it's only May. Can't wait til September. I know for some of you that's the beginning of fall but in South Florida that can be the worst month. Check back with me then. |

| Hey Vixidu - I'm about an hour south of Tampa - boohoo for us! I usually start hoping for something cool around mid October. The lovely part is that when it does cool down, I feel like I could fly. For now I'll add humidity runs to my complaint list (along side humidity hair). |
