    Sandor Katz, who is a friend, and his books about fermentation are pretty popular. He also gives workshops throughout the country.       I picked up some homemade kimchi in Honolulu for a friend.  The jar leaked in my luggage and it smelled so bad by the time I got home. That kimchi is some really strong stuff.
