They waste water....
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
I don't spend any time thinking about green smoothies
I do not like them in a box.
I do not like them with a fox.

Eww. Don't use water!
1/2 - 1 cup full fat yogurt - any style you like.
1 orange -- navel is best.
1 banana
1cup frozen or fresh pineapple--canned just doesn't work.
2-3 loose handfuls of raw spinach. What little taste the raw stuff has
is covered up with the the pineapple.
All above measurements to taste.
Blend with or without ice.
Enough to share -- or not.
Drink up!
Not low calorie, not low fat, tastes great.

Throw some kale in there.

Why don't you just eat the kale and spinach? Why make a smoothie? Is there an added benefit? Just curious because I eat either a kale salad or spinach salad everyday for lunch.

I was skeptical but my wife convinced me to try it. Kale, mint, banana, fruit juice, and a bunch of other crap from the fridge. Does it have magical properties? Who cares! It tastes good and I get a green mustache!

No. No added benefit

Wow! That DOES sound like an unbelievable amount of fun!!!
Green smoothies rule! I throw the following (or some variation) in my vitamix daily:
Almond milk
1 x Banana
2 x carrots
2 x celery
1 x apple or pear
handful of frozen berries
Scoop of plant based protien powder
handful of kale
I use all organic fruits and veggies. Yum!
I don't think there's an added benefit except that in the smoothie I actually eat the kale
First or last...it's the same finish line

Agreed. Until I got the Nutribullet, I would never be eating this much spinah and kale as I do now. I use to juice with it, but I didn't like that I was going through so much produce for such little amount of juice.
Yeah, I tend to eat a lot more kale (and leafy greens in general) in smoothies than in salads - I have a smoothie every day, but don't necessarily have a salad every day. Also, kale and other bitter greens can be hard on somefolks digestive system, but blending seems to help (something about breaking the kale down - pre-digesting)....
