Outstanding first race. If you can do that on three weeks of training, you may become blisteringly fast one day. Soon. One piece of advice you'll probably ignore: be careful about doing too much too soon. You really ought to spend a few months building slow, easy mileage, what they call a "base," before you do much fast work or races. My favorite poster around here reminds me of you. She started out running like the wind, did a brutal race just a couple months after starting, with a fine time if memory serves ... and hasn't run in almost a year as a result.

Just heed the advice and don't sideline yourself.
