Today ... I WON (Read 1369 times)

It's been a while, nice to see you post Rafa.  Even better because it's such great news.  Congrats!

     +1

    Congrats!

Passion is a rather frightening thing because if you have passion you don't know where it will take you.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

      Very cool, WINNER!  Smile

Suffering Benefiting from mature onset exercise addiction and low aerobic endorphin release threshold. Hoping there is no cure.

Congrats!  Now, you have to prepare to defend it next year.

There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

Back beat, the word was on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt

One day I decided I wanted to become a runner, so I did.

There ya go! Relish in the moment!

It's fun to win once in a while.

I only won my age group once.  It was at my home town for a 5K that was in it's first year.  It's the only time I got 1st in anything for running.

That is so cool.  I've never won a race before so I have no idea how you are feeling.  I don't care how big/small or fast/slow the group is.  It must be cool to break the tape.  Then a newspaper article to boot.  I am jealous.  Congrats and bask in the glory of your running.

Don't tell anybody where it is though!  It will be easier to defend your title next year.
