>General Running>Garmin worth it?
Abs of Flabs
Has any one tried any competing GPS-based devices? What are the main competitors to the Garmins?
With a quick search I found this Timex device:
I have an older model of that. I like the fact that the watch is small(er) than the Garmin 205/305, so I can use it as an everyday watch instead of just for running. It is a very good watch for running and has everything I need. However, the watch does not have as many features as the Garmin because the screen is not big enough to display extra information. Garmin is heading in the right direction, but they still need to make the watch smaller.
