I understand the fancysmancy phones have GPS in them these days, and let you see your current running course on a map and stuff.
Yeah, a guy I ran with in my marathon training group had GPS on his phone. Thing was so far off though it was useless. And when I mean off, we're talking .3 to .5 miles off consistently.
Thanks everyone for the recommendations. After reading all your posts and doing my research, I think I'm sold on the Forerunner 305.
