Weird Ankle Twinges (Read 206 times)

The past few runs I have felt these strange, unprovoked twinges in my left ankle. I have not injured my ankle recently and the twinges only happen when I am running. There is no consistency to the twinges. They seem to happen about 7 miles into my runs and I could have 1 or two every mile. It feels as if my ankle is about to give way. The twinges are on the outside of my ankle. Any ideas as to what the issue could be? Thanks in advance.

Bundle up, it's cold

I had something similar yesterday, but it started from the beginning and then ceased after about two or three miles. I don't know what it is, but I know I slowed pace a little and relaxed through my stride. It was like I needed longer than normal to warm up.
