Here are two stories I thought you all might enjoy, from the local paper in advance of the Labor Day 20K Road Race here tomorrow.
The first is about Ryan Hall, and the legacy he left behind in the form of his example of work ethic, and his concern for his fellow racers:

The second is about a local runner who underwent a heart transplant a year ago, and will be running the 5K companion race to the 20K... reminded me again why I have that little red "Organ Donor" heart on my driver's license:
